Indiana University’s more than 4,700 faculty on
eight campuses across Indiana are integral parts of their communities
contributing in a thousand ways to the quality of life for Hoosiers.

for the state of Indiana. They are educating the next generation
of teachers, lawyers, physicians, social workers, economists,
and many others. At the same time, they play a direct role in
the state’s economy, health care system, social services, public
education—whether they are seeing patients at the IU Medical Center,
chairing a group of citizens working on behalf of the mentally
ill, or establishing a regional science museum. |
